Suzuki PH Replaces Alto with P 518k SUV-Inspired S-Presso (w/ Specs, Brochure)

Suzuki Philippines is giving a unique twist to its entry-level micro car offering. Replacing its strong-selling Alto is this SUV-styled hatchback called the S-Presso. Strong and bold, the P 518,000 crossover may have what it takes to stand out in the A-segment passenger car segment.

The 2020 S-Presso features squared wheel arches and increased ground clearance to give it that SUV look. Exterior features include multi-reflector halogen headlights, C-shaped taillights, and 14-inch steel wheels with full covers. Four colors will be on offer: Sizzle Orange, Fire Red, Metallic Granite Gray, and Metallic Silky Silver.

Inside, the S-Presso gets center-mounted gauges with a digital-type speedometer. Features include a 7-inch touchscreen audio system, front power windows, and various cabin compartments. And despite its small size, it has a 239-liter luggage compartment which grows even more with the foldable rear seat.

The S-Presso is powered by a 1.0-liter K10B engine mated to a 5-speed manual. The 3-cylinder engine makes 67 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. With just 770 kilograms to pull around, it has the ingredients for a zippy ride.

Underpinned by the Suzuki HEARTECT platform, the S-Presso features dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors as standard equipment.

  1. The 2nd interior picture only has a normal 2-DIN radio. So we won't get that specification?

    1. We get the 7-inch touchscreen, not the 2-DIN radio.

    2. Do you have available unit in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro?

  2. Sir Uly,
    Good Day!
Will Suzuki bring the AT version of the S Presso?

    1. Highly unlikely given it's a replacement for their Alto. If they opt to phase out the Celerio, they might introduce a higher trim of the S-Presso with an AT and more standard features.

  3. Sir gud pm do you have available unit of spresso?
