MG 5 to Hold Metro Manila Launch at Latest Leg of MG Live! Free Concert Series

After its preview at the 2019 Cebu Auto Show, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) is now ready to officially launch its newest offering: the sub-compact MG 5. The launch of this fully-loaded sedan is happening at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center, and you’re invited.

Starting tomorrow, October 3 to Sunday, October 6, the MG 5 will be on public display alongside the ZS SUV, MG RX5 SUV, and the MG 6. You can check the full specs and variants of the MG 5 here, but in gist, this 1.5-liter sedan is a cut above the rest with its size and standard array of creature comfort features. And since it’s priced 658,888 to P 938,888, it doesn’t break the bank either.

The first Manila appearance of the MG 5 coincides with the latest leg of their free concert series, MG Live! For this leg, OPM hotshots, IV of Spades wil do a full set on Saturday, October 5.

“We at MG Philippines have always regarded MG Live! as a celebration of the vibrance and the youthfulness of modern MGs, as well as the rich musical talent inherent in the Philippines,” says Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, President and CEO of TCCCI-MG Philippines. “This edition of MG Live! is particularly special because it highlights our latest sedan, the MG 5, which is a model that we at MG Philippines recognize as an important participant in the highly competitive subcompact sedan category, and a vehicle that speaks to an even wider audience. This event is our way of bringing the MG 5 and all of our cars closer to the local market in a manner that all Filipinos can relate to—through music.”

Aside from the free concert highlight, MG Philippines will make the MG 5 as well as the other cars in its stable available for test drive. Interested parties can simply visit the MG Philippines display and schedule a test drive (last call for test drives will be at 5 PM every day).

October is also a very special month for TCCCI and MG Philippines, as the former celebrates its tenth-year anniversary, while MG Philippines marks one year under TCCCI. In under 12 months, MG Philippines has mounted national launch campaigns of four unique cars, has rolled out numerous aftersales complements, and has strengthened its dealership network, now with a total of 11 dealerships nationwide (with seven more dealerships expected to be opened before the end of 2019.)
