Yes, You Can Order the P 9.92-Million Toyota GR Supra GT4 Racecar

If you find the Toyota Vios Race Car a bit too tame, why don’t you consider a Toyota several notches higher? After showing off the GR Supra GT4 racecar last July, Toyota Gazoo has finally revealed its final specs and eye-watering price. Oh, and yes, you can buy it even from the Philippines.

On sale from March 2020, the GR Supra will be offered to customer teams in Europe first, followed by North America in August, and then Japan/Asia in October.

The GR Supra GT4 is based off the road-going GR Supra, but tweaked in the hands of Toyota Motorsport GmbH in Germany.

The BMW 3.0-liter inline-6 has been re-tuned to develop 430 horsepower—close to a 100-horsepower jump from the regular GR Supra and 650 Nm of torque. This is then mated to a 7-speed sports automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and a mechanical limited slip differential driving the rear wheels. An Akrapovič exhaust system will be fitted and Ravenol will provide first-fill lubricants.

The front splitter and rear wing are made of natural fiber composite, contributing to an overall weight of just 1,350 kilograms. And following the specification of the GR Supra road car, the front suspension will be MacPherson strut, and rear suspension will be multilink with KW dampers at the front and rear The braking system is enhanced through the use of a dedicated brake caliper for racing, six-piston front and four-piston rear, while running on 305/660-18 Pirelli tires.

The GR Supra GT4 then comes with a high-strength roll cage, and an FIA-standard racing seat with a 6-point racing harness. The interior will feature a carbon fiber instrumental panel with a display and steering wheel specifically designed for GT4 competition.

As for the price, it’ll cost € 175,000 (~ P 9.92 million) and this is excluding things like tax, customs duties, logistics fee, and the like. Take note: despite having a full set of headlights and taillights, the GR Supra GT4 isn’t road legal. Still, for those who want a unique track toy, you can send an email to TRD Business Div. Department No. 1, Motor Sports Business Unit: info_supragt4 [at] toyota-cd.co.jp. They will handle your sale.
