Another Sub-P 900K Small Crossover Arrives: Meet the 2020 GAC GS3 (w/ Brochure)


Legado Motors Inc., the exclusive distributor of GAC Motor in the Philippines launched the latest addition to its line-up: the GS3 sub-compact crossover. Well-received in markets where GAC is sold around the world, the GS3 is considered by many as a “game-changer” SUV thanks to specifications and features that surpass those in its price range.

Both the exterior and interior styling of the GS3 aim to create a premium riding experience by combining classic chrome elements with a strong, wedge-like styling. The interior features either premium fabric or leather, and boasts of an infotainment system with an 8-inch TFT color display with hands-free Bluetooth.


Designed to be a versatile vehicle, it comes with either a 1.5-liter normally-aspirated engine with 113 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque (150N) or a turbocharged 1.3-liter engine with 136 horsepower and 202 Nm of torque (200T). Both engines are mated to a torque-converter 6-speed automatic.

The GS3 boasts of a China NCAP five-star safety rating thanks to a full complement of airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, hill descent control, and hill-start hold control. Additional convenience is provided by the electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

The GS3’s entry-level 150N variant costs P 888,000 while the premium 200T variant sells for P 1,058,000.

GAC Motor dealerships in the Philippines are located at Metrowalk, Pasig City; San Fernando, Pampanga; and Tarlac City, Tarlac. More dealerships are soon to open in Alabang, Muntinlupa City; Imus, Cavite; and Mandaue City, Cebu.
